OK--- this is the ole big 'Shrek 2' dvd release weekend......and I have to say that really DIG the first one!! It is very original, a nice quick moving plot, and it has some cool vibe music running through out the whole thing that really makes it for me.......now on to this new movie.... it is good, but I dont think that it is AS good as the original...I like the new "Puss" character (when I can understand what he is saying that is) he adds some cool comedic flare....the movie runs a little slow, like some scenes could have been deleted or shortened.....BUT the one thing that really SUCKS is---the music in it!!! no not the cool disco "Funky Town" or "Disco Inferno" or anything from the final 'Idol" stuff....but the soundtrack songs that run through out the film!!!!! That Counting Crowes song is LAME!!! and so are most of the other songs that they chose to play......the funny thing is, is that in some of the DVD extras, there are some guys talking about how they think that the music in this is so good, and like the 1st movie, it will help 'make' this one too......... well a lot of the tunes sucks buckets!!!!! maybe it's just me, but something about that "allstar" song and the Joan Jett "Bad Reputation" song from the first movie really fit like a glove...........

maybe I am crazy, but a movie with cool music is the BEST!!!! Kill Bill (the first one) has ROCKIN' music, and Pulp Fiction is the same............

hey kids..... They have announced a new season of The Surreal Life starting January 9th...with Christopher Knight aka Peter Brady!!! ...and Mini-Me, Chyna the Wrestler, Jane from The Go Go's, and some other people that will probably get on my nerves....

Today was the final episodes of this latest seaon of the show, with FLAVERR-FLAV!! and Bridgette Neilson and the crew.....and I gotta say is that Ryan Starr from American Idol needs to get over herself....VH1 was showing all (i think) of the episodes leading up to the final one, and I saw the one where they sang a song in the studio that Flava and Jordon Knight wrote...and Ryan Starr must really think that she is gonna be some huge recording star...How amny years ago was her season of Idol??? I havent heard anything from her since...."I don't want to sing that song...it's a pop song, and I sing rock.....I hate R and B, I am a ROCK singer"....whatever sister, I don't see 98ROCK playing anything that you have to offer, or any rock station worth their grain of salt.... The song was catchy and good for that style, and her voice sounded great on it.....
